Asthma Sucks!!!

Asthma. The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear asthma is having trouble breathing. Trouble breathing that can be either mild to severe. I have a mild version of asthma. Last time, I had a flare up was almost a year when I had a flare up twice within a month of each other. And, it was the worse I had in sometime. But my son, is a different matter. His asthma is far more worse than mine ever was and is. The countless trips to the emergency room. The ambulance rides to the emergency room. The worry of it all. The fear if everything will be okay. Praying that the doctors can do everything they can to help my child to get better and to be well. We have been lucky until very recently, that my son hasn't need to hospitalized due to his asthma.New Year's Eve 2016. Fireworks are firing in the air. The smoke is always intense on New Year's Eve. The illegal fireworks were more worse for New Year's Eve 2016. And I have grown to passionately hate the fireworks that people are allowed to set off. I rather leave it to the professionals and just enjoy the fireworks show in an controlled show. New Year's Eve 2016 was really bad for fireworks. The worse I ever seen it. So much illegals that is supposedly banned for use. Fast forward, 3 days into the new year and my son woke up in the middle of the night unable to breathe. This one was the worst attack my son ever dealt with. He was required to stay in the hospital for 4 days. It was an unbelievably scary time for my son as well as those who care and love for Logan. And all because of fireworks. Every year, I wish the fireworks will stop. Every year, I wish the government officials will let the fireworks be dealt with the professionals at annual firework shows. Ever year, I hear that I should rent a hotel room so my son doesn't inhale the smoke of the fireworks. But when you lack funds to rent a hotel room, you do what you can to protect your child from the smoke. My son is battling another head cold, since coming home from the hospital, that is taking a long time to go away. His asthma has been affected already by the cold but thankfully, it was a mild attack. But it doesn't stop me from worrying about my son. It doesn't stop me from praying for healing protection and healing on my son's lungs. My point of this is to bring awareness of life with asthma for those who suffer with it. It can be mild to severe. It is different from one person to the next. No one should suffer from asthma, let alone children. I want to bring awareness. Awareness to life with asthma. And what each and every one of us can do to help those with asthma and what is like to live with it. Everyone you come across may look and appear fine. And yes, a number of people make be fine but there is those who are suffering with something. You can't just see it. I want to start doing something to help with asthma awareness and what it's like for those who suffer from it and those who are related to those who suffer from asthma. If any of you know where I can start and where I can go from that start, please let me know! Email me at tombrady12pats1@yahoo.com if you have any ideas on where I can help bring awareness to asthma and those who suffer from it. And see what we can do to help those who suffer! And if you can't reach me at the above email, try and email me at gmedeiros840@gmail.com if you can't reach me at the Yahoo email. I really want to bring awareness, more awareness of life with asthma. And see, what can be done more to help those who suffer! Please help me with my goal! Thank you!
